The Uganda Conflict Action Network (Uganda-CAN) is a grassroots campaign of citizens working, through awareness building and advocacy to end the 20-year war in northern Uganda. Working closely with Ugandan peacemakers and activists, Uganda-CAN works for a more responsible global citizenship, advocating a U.S. policy that hears and responds to the suffering of those caught in the midst of poverty and war, particularly in the Great Lakes Region of Africa.
